April 8, 2004, HOTRODNEWS TV and Magazine announces that FOX Sports Network will air the weekly "Hot Rod friendly" show, on Saturday mornings at 11 o'clock. FOX plans to air the show as the premier Hot Rod show on their powerful growing sports network through Basic Cable, Digital Cable and Satellite Network.
John Stroh of FOX Sports Network says, "The addition of HOTRODNEWS to the FOX lineup will be a really good thing for our viewers."
Big Jim Bumbarger, Publisher/Producer and founder of HOTRODNEWS says, "In working together with FOX, this area will be the focal point to show why it is a pivotal spot for hot rodding. Our plan is to reveal how the sport of drag racing and the enthusiasm of hot rods is becoming significant in the world of sports.”
May 1, 2004 is the target date for the new series of shows coming from HOTRODNEWS. The show's Director, Tom Graham of Graham-DV, is working with the FOX creative center to enhance the shows overall image.
The new series, which is hosted by Denny Terzich, a nationally recognized car builder, will bring you profiles on world class hot rods and their owners. There will be lots of tire screaming action when the gang from HOTRODNEWS tests national cover cars to see if they are as fast as they are cool. Viewers will also get to meet drag racers from around the country, showing off their cars. And what’s a show without lots of tech spots on building a hot rod or drag car.
Watch the premier of HOTRODNEWS on FOX Sports Network, airing on Saturday, May 1st, at 11 a.m.
